We highly recommend and provide the following recommended adult vaccines to decrease the risk of infectious diseases these vaccines aim to protect against:

1. TDAP. Protects against 3 diseases: Tetanus, Diphtheria and Whooping Cough. Recommended every 10 years

2. Shingrix. Protects against Shingles. Recommended for adults over 50 as two shots separated by 2-6 months

3. Hepatitis B shot. Protects against Hepatitis B virus. Recommended for all adults up to 59 years old and for high risk adults over 60

4. Hepatitis A shot. Protects against Hepatitis A virus. Recommended for high risk adults and adults travelling to countries with high prevalence of hepatitis A

5. Prevnar 20. Protects against Streptococcus Pneumonia, a major cause of pneumonia in the US. Recommended to all adults after age 65 and high risk adults younger than 65

6. RSV shot: Protects against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (which may cause severe bronchitis and pneumonia in older adults). Recommended for all adults over 75 years of age and for high-risk adults 60-74 years of age

7. Flu shot: Protects against seasonal influenza virus. Recommended for all adults annually. Adults over 65 get a special formulation to increase their immune response

8. Comirnaty (Pfizer Covid Shot). Protects against current variants of COVID-19 infection. This updated shot is recommended for all adults.
